Who

Jesus is the most important person in history. Although he was the Son of God, Jesus was born in humble circumstances in Bethlehem, over two thousand years ago. The historical gospel accounts in the Bible tell us that Jesus' public ministry demonstrated his authority over the created world in casting out demons, performing miracles, forgiving sins and teaching people about God's kingdom. Jesus also showed his love and compassion in being willing to associate with all people, from the outcast to the elite. 

What

From the beginning Jesus’ plan was to suffer death on the cross in order to pay the price of the world's rebellion against God. But the Bible says that the death of Jesus is not the final word. Instead, Jesus was raised from death, just as he promised, so that all who trust in him will rise with him and find the joy of sins forgiven and eternal life with him.

Why

Jesus said that he is the only way to God the Father. That it is only by trusting in Jesus as our Lord (the one we worship) and our Saviour (the one we trust) that we can come into a relationship with him.
