STEVE JONES

Stephen Jones grew up as a country boy in Colac who came to know Jesus at age 18. Since then he has fallen in love with Jesus and his gospel message of grace and hope. Stephen is blessed to be married since 2005 to the ever patient Martina and together they are raising their four noisy kids.

Stephen joined the pastoral team at Drouin Presbyterian Church in 2019 after four years as Minister of Melton Presbyterian Church. Before then he was a student minister at both Valley Presbyterian Church and Bundoora Presbyterian Church whilst studying a Masters of Divinity at the Presbyterian Theological College. He also completed a two year ministry apprenticeship at St Michael’s Anglican Cathedral in Wollongong prior to college.

Before ministry, Stephen worked as a Prosthetist and Orthotist (after studying Prosthetics at Uni), making artificial arms and legs for amputees. He paid his way through college by working as a childcare worker, gardener, pizza delivery driver and timber mill worker.



For fun he loves spending time with his family, going to the gym and doing anything that involves food.
