Connect Groups
Members of the congregation are encouraged to find a connect group that suits their life's circumstance. Connect Groups are our small group ministry within the church. As the name of the groups shows, we endeavour to connect with God through the study of the Bible and prayer, as well as connecting with each other. Christianity is far more than knowledge in our minds, it must be lived out and these groups provide a wonderful opportunity to do this as we strengthen relationships between one another.
It is hoped that through our Connect Groups that others will be connected in a more meaningful way to our congregation. Most groups are of mixed ages and genders although we have specific groups for women, men, youth and young adults meeting at different time and days.
Prayer Groups
We know that we can't do anything apart from God, so prayer holds a high priority in the life of our church. It is an essential component of our regular Sunday services, but prayer is for more than just Sundays. We encourage all people to be praying privately and as well as in your families too.
We have two regular prayer meetings held each week, 7:00am each Tuesday morning (in a private home) and again at 2:00pm on Thursday afternoons (in a private home). These prayer meetings are held to pray for the needs of individuals, our congregation, the wider Church, our community, nation and world. Prayer shows our dependence on God as we seek His leading and pray knowing that He hears and will answer our prayers according to his will.
Men’s and Women’s Ministries
At Drouin Presbyterian, we have different gatherings, both formal and social specifically for the men & women of the church.
